Foot of the Mountain Motel

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Good cost/quality balance.

Cons: Water in the tub lacks of pressure.

Pros: Staff was exceptionally helpful. Went above and beyond with planning hikes and giving useful information

Pros: The location was great, close to the mountains but also the town, and right across from a nice part of the creek where it’s lovely to take a dip or have a little picnic especially when it’s hot outside. There’s also a portable sauna that runs most days I think. The staff was also nice enough to get us some fresh lower pillows as we found them way too high the first night. Thank you so much!

Lovely cabin motel at the edge of Boulder

Pros: Peaceful and with great access to hikes on the edge of town. Good sized cabin.

Cons: The bathroom is a bit old but works fine, and the lighting in the cabin is quite dim.

A fabulous and quaint place to stay, with a real mountain feel. Loved it.

Pros: I loved the quaintness of the cabin rooms, they are accented with red accessories throughout, which match the red doors, right down to a retro looking red phone. The bed was comfy and cozy and the bathroom surprisingly larger than expected.

Pros: Fab Location, delightful staff, accommodation basic but comfy , nice bed and decent bathroom . Parking easy

If you want to be on the western border of Boulder this is one of your few choices. Expensive but convenient

Pros: This is a unique historical property close to walking and biking path along the river. They serve a nice continental breakfast in the morning which you can take to your room on a tray if you like. It’s also close to numerous hiking trails

Cons: The bathrooms are close to 1934 original but everything functions properly

Pros: Nice clean comfortable bed. Enjoyed breakfast and coffee. Friendly staff

Cons: Could do with some upgrade in bathroom as looking a bit tired.

Pros: We only stayed one night, but wish we had more time! The rooms were clean and charming, with a little seating area right outside — a lovely touch. The motel is set in nature, away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a few minutes’ drive from the center of town. Peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Great cabin with mountain views

Pros: We loved the cosy cabins and the chairs outside. Breakfast was good with cereal, fruit, breads etc. Loved the location close to Boulder Creek and a shortish walk into Boulder

Cons: I think the cabin could have been cleaner. The bathroom door really needed a good dust and wash.
