Cozy, old-fashioned place that met our needs, with a super helpful and responsive host.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay! The place has a more old-fashioned vibe, so if you’re expecting something grand, it might not meet your expectations. However, it was exactly what we needed, and we liked it a lot. The host was amazing—very kind, helpful, and always quick to respond. He really went out of his way to assist us. Would definitely recommend!

Pleasant little place.

Pros: It was beautiful. The whole building was very historic and antique.

Cons: There isn't an office or a receptionist and it's a bit messy where there should be one. Also, there were no good options for drinking water.

Exactly what was needed for a RedRocks concert stay!

Pros: it was kitty-korner from the shuttle pick-up spot for a concert @ redrocks. I was able to park on High St & hang put at a coffee shop until check in. A little issue with the room door was quickly addressed by an on-site staff person, the bathroom was perfectly functional so I was able to prep in about an hour then go meet my friend & head to the show. The walk back after was easy and i slept well.

Cons: The 4pm check-in time was cutting it a little close, but it all worked out fine.

Great value for the stay.

Pros: Property was a beautiful old creaky hotel with a lot of character. Close to a lot of attractions in Denver and the neighborhood is quaint.

Our stay was cozy and quaint and exactly what we were wanting for our honeymoon.

Pros: The location was close to some great places to eat and an amazing sports bar the DNVR! And the maintenance guy recommended a fantastic pizza place.

Cons: Nothing everything was great.

We will give the property a return visit.

Pros: Beautifully decorated with Victorian period furnishings.

Cons: The road construction of Colfax made parking any where near the Chalet impossible. That is not a problem within the control of the property.

Pros: We LOVED the vibe! Everything worked so well, the tile and wallpaper and decor was beautiful. We loved the look. The bed was comfortable, shower and air conditioner worked great.

Cons: The location was in a rough part of town, and there were men smoking on the front steps when we arrived.

Not a perfect place to stay but a owner that cares and has problems from the neighborhood troublemakers

Pros: Old building with well over 100 years of history. They don’t build them like this anymore. 13 rooms and plenty of good places to eat & drink within walking distance. I had a chance to talk to the owner when I was leaving. He cares about the property and guest more than the city of Denver police do. He also has plans to improve the property.I wish him nothing but good luck!He was installing cameras with lights on the property and has plans to add a fence on the Colfax side of the property. I didn’t have any problems at night. The WiFi was good

Cons: Not the owners fault but some of the locals near the property are homeless, have mental or drug problems. It gets noisy after midnight from the locals hanging out at the bus stop across the street and at the gas station parking lot. They leave trash behind. Parking is a problem if you have a car.
