Winter Park Chateau

We enjoyed our stay

Pros: I loved the large room we were offered when the room we had booked proved to be too small. It had a lovely bathroom and my husband loved the freestanding tub. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We also spent most evenings in the den which was huge, warm and very comfortable.

Cons: The outside and outside entrance hall are not appealing and need some work but once you are in the inner hall it is far more appealing. There are building works on both side of the building which didn’t look great but whilst we were there the noise was not an issue for us. The owners are new to the property and I think will be changing the linens which weren’t great. The curtains could also do with changing and the provision of bedside lighting would have been brilliant.

Pros: This place is absolutely wonderful! The rooms are big, so nicely decorated and the staff is very kind. We loved our stay at this beautiful chateau and would highly recommend it to anybody who is looking for a peaceful, stylish, clean and most comfortable place to stay. Great value for money!

Perfect stay in this stylish boutique hotel.

Pros: A lovely stylish boutique hotel thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Our host was very warm and welcoming, happy to engage and assist as needed. Room and public areas had all you needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This is a little gem of a hotel that I hope I will be able to say at again and for much longer.

Good place to stay

Pros: Good location, easy to find, fireplace was a nice touch. Good hot water in the shower is always nice!

Cons: Steps at entrance were broken and slanted to the right, almost dangerous trying to enter and exit the room definitely during slick winter conditions .

Lovely boutique hotel in a good location.

Pros: Great place to stay a couple of days. The communal area is great it will be a nice meeting point in ski season. If I was there to ski would hope they would provide breakfast. Liked the 2 way entry to our room. Hot tub was a bonus.

Cons: Soundproofing between rooms especially plumbing could do with improvement. Not much hanging space if you travel with a lot of luggage or are wanting to stay longer than a couple of days but that is a minor point,

Pros: Short drive from WP and walkable to several bars and restaurants for the evening. Hot tub was a nice perk with great views. Room was spotless and great mod-cons.

Very comfortable and enjoyable!

Pros: The owner was on-site several times during our stay and was very helpful and informative. They did a very nice job of remodeling the property to make it a very nice and comfortable place to stay. The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and had great water pressure and the bathroom was clean. Our room also had a small bonus room called the Cub Den for young kids or young adults (our boys are 17 & 20) to sit in and have their own private space.

Cons: Our only complaint would be that the parking was somewhat limited when they had a full house of guests.

Fantastic little Inn and wonderful updated room.

Pros: Lovely authentic Inn with a wonderfully friendly atmosphere.

Cons: Booking/ billing process thru this 3rd party site was a little clunky.

Wonderful cozy place, will be back for sure!

Pros: Property owners were awesome, very accommodating and friendly.

Cons: Nothing fantastic place.
