The Viking Lodge - Downtown Winter Park Colorado

Pros: Very cozy lodge with excellent location. Rooms were simple and small, but to be expected for the price point. Nice cozy common area with hot beverages.

Pros: Fabulous pre arrival communication with the host. Easy check in. Clean & comfortable room and facilities. A cosy friendly accommodation I highly recommend a stay here, thank you!! ☺️

Loved the location, staff, and room!

Pros: Great location close to plenty of restaurants/bars, only a 5 minute drive to the slopes or free bus right outside the door. Clean, comfortable room. We wanted to go skiing half day on Saturday then check out, and since no one rented our room that night they gave us a 1 pm check out time, the latest I've ever had. Great coffee in the lobby, plus free snacks and oatmeal but no real breakfast. Not an issue though, plenty of places nearby!

For the price of accommodations in a Ski town, the Viking Lodge is a great value.

Pros: The location was, I thought the best. Everything was walking distance. You didn’t have to worry about where you were gonna park in how to get there. The hotel is older, but very well maintained and comfortable.

Cons: There was some road noise because of the location of the hotel, but it was manageable. Two cats live on the property, but I never got to see them.

Uniquely amazing.

Pros: Quite possibly the quaintest hotel and hotel room you could find for this price in Winter Park during a snow storm. It’s not anything luxurious but you can tell the owners and people that work here put a lot of time and effort into this place.

Pros: Cannot recommend this lodge enough!! So cozy, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people. Walking distance from bars, restaurants, public transportation and more! Can’t wait to come back!
