Charming and welcoming

Pros: Charming place to stay. Cool wooden cabin and so quiet. Joel the manager was a welcoming, informative and lovely man! Makes cookies too! We ate a lot of them! They offered so much here that we were surprised at what was being offered! Hot tub, a grill, fire pits, games, movies, puzzles, hiking equipment and so much more! We loved our stay here and we will be coming back when we hike this party of the rockies again. It felt sad to leave!

Cosy mountain base… With cookies!!!

Pros: The lodge was located a short drive between town and the national park entrance. Rooms were cosy and had all the comforts we needed- comfy beds and a spacious shower! The hosts were so welcoming, it’s almost worth planning your trip to wake up there on a Sunday to enjoy the Cinnamon Rolls. I’ll be thinking of Wanda’s freshly baked cookies for a long time. Lovely lodge!

Beautiful and Comfortable Cabin

Pros: Beautiful location, right by Fall River. There’s a restaurant next door in walking distance. Very comfortable cabin with fireplace and logs provided. Park for kids to play. Parking spot right in front of the cabin. Friendly staff. We loved our stay!

Cons: WiFi wasn’t great and there was several ‘rules’ to follow but overall did not affect our trip negatively

Cons: Not silent stopping of front (annimal) doors - my children loved it, but our neibourghs must hated it :)

A delightful stay that we look forward to doing again soon!

Pros: Beautiful and convenient location, near Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, and lose to Estes! The room was genuinely nice and comfortable. Clean and with a mini kitchen. The only issue we had was with the bathroom, the staff immediately addressed it and all was great!

Cons: Did not see any mountain lions..

We loved the beautiful property, and we had a very relaxing stay!

Pros: The room and property was very clean and beautiful. The lights driving in made the stay that more magical. Aaron was wonderful, very kind. He made sure we knew about the property and all the extra goodies like movies, and cinnamon rolls in the morning. We enjoyed the room and amenities. We will be back!

Cons: I loved everything but I would suggest new updated bed spreads and blankets.

Castle Mountain Lodge was home-away-from home with welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere, and location!

Pros: The staff was exceptionally friendly! We enjoyed the location, overall atmosphere, and style of the lodge. Overall, great and welcoming place to stay!

Cons: The hot-tub closed earlier than we would have liked. Also, the parking lot was small and oddly shaped, which made it hard to maneuver in. Minor issues though

Amazing view, nice people and delicious cookies at the front desk!

Pros: Nice people, and very welcoming. The area is amazing and they even had a free hot tub with a view to the mountains🤩. The room was clean and had big and comfortable beds, And I guess that’s all that matters🥰

Cons: I would be happy if they had an option for adding a breakfast (especially when it’s quite far from every central area)
