A magical stay surrounded by elk and breathtaking views.

Pros: Our stay at Discovery Lodge was absolutely magical! We stayed in a room with a balcony and large windows, and waking up to the sunrise over the lake with elk bugling all around was unforgettable. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and breakfast was great, especially enjoying it while watching more elk in the garden, including two bull elk interacting. It was truly a unique experience!

Cons: The only (very minor) downside was that the shower water pressure was a bit weak. If you have thick or long hair, rinsing shampoo might take a little longer. Other than that, it was perfect.

Estes is a great town too. Friendly and wholesome with everything you could need :)

Pros: Perfect location for trip to Rocky Mountain NP. Comfortable beds, friendly staff and a hot tub! Will definitely come back for next Rocky’s trip. For anyone with EV there is a charging station walking distance from the lodge.

Pros: Really nice place for its price with breakfast included. Super close to Estes Park Visitor Center and local stores and restaurants. Definiely staying here again if visit Estes Park.

A memorable & wonderful stay!

Pros: Room was quiet & cosy with a beautiful view. Folding of towels was impressive & these were of high quality. As we did not have our own transport, we were pleased to be within walking distance of the Visitors' Centre and Main Street. We did a great private 4hr trip with Brandon of RockyGuides.com into the National Park.

Cons: The bed was not level & slanted backwards. The breakfast could have been better - some bagels and cream cheese would have been a nice option. Coffee machine was not working.

Excellent location and value

Pros: A quiet and comfortable stay in a newly refurbished and clean room away from the road with views of mountains, golf green and pond. 5mns walk from good supermarket, 10mns walk from restaurants. Staff responded promptly to our requests. Can not fault it for the price. Thank you.

Cons: You can always 'top up' breakfast with some supermarket purchases.
