Scenic Mountain Inn

Pros: Beautiful scenic setting. Spacious, clean room. Comfortable bed, powerful shower. My flight was delayed and the communication from the staff around room access was excellent.

Cons: No full length wardrobe so was difficult to hang clothes. Breakfast was very basic, largely sugary snacks/cakes. It would have been nice to have some juices, more fruit and toast/bagels.

We had a very enjoyable 3 nights at the Maxwell Inn. Loved seeing all the wildlife and not relying on the car to get aro

Pros: Location. Very close to the entrance of RMNP and within walking distance of the shops/restaurants of Estes Park.

Cozy little inn, close to restaurants and shops

Pros: The Maxwell Inn was an excellent choice! It's just a little ways off the Main Street of Estes, within walking distance but far enough not to feel crowded.

Cons: Do show up early for check-in; there is no overnight staff. Not a problem as long as you know.

Pros: Very Clean updated and comfortable room, back porch overlooking the river.

Cons: A bit pricey but you pay for location

Pros: Loved the warm welcome at reception. It was a short stroll from down town.

Cons: Everything was good.

Pros: Easy check in, personable staff. Quiet location with walkability to central areas. Single overnight stay and this location met our needs.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Pros: This inn was a very pleasant surprise! We had been to Estes Park in the past and were never particularly thrilled by the available accommodations. The Maxwell Inn changed that. The best feature is that the room and grounds are impeccably CLEAN. Our room (#21) was recently renovated and everything about it was delightful - the furnishings, the bed linens, the fluffy towels, and (of course) the cleanliness. The patio areas are very nice and quite relaxing.

Cons: The only thing that was a tiny bit disappointing was the continental breakfast. There were lots of options, including items to take along on hikes. But, none of the cereals were without an added sugar coating. Just some plain Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes, Cheerios, etc. would have been appreciated. That's it. Everything else was AMAZING!

Motel was exactly what we expected and would stay there again.

Pros: Room was extremely clean and well taken care of. Nice and roomy too. Loved being able to park right at the front door. Convenient and quiet location. Loved having the microwave and fridge too.

Cons: Nothing really. Sort of wish there was separate door to potty area so that one person could take a shower and be in that portion while the other was getting ready. But that is just minor. Missed having a hair dryer in the room as I forgot to bring one.

Location, location ,location! Easy access to park and town.

Pros: Compact room, but very clean throughout, bed was comfortable and we slept well. Nice selection for a continental breakfast.

Cons: A few more hooks to hang clothes and a bit more counter space for the sink.l

Pros: Great location near RMNP. Nice little (continental)breakfast included. They have an outdoor fire circle, hot tub and tables for evening relaxing from where we watched a lightning storm one evening. Owners were nice and helpful. The place is nothing fancy, but perfect for us!

Cons: We like to cook our own meals, so a larger fridge would’ve been nice, though this one was workable.
