Charming Studio Apartment in the Heart of Golden

Pros: Betty was really a very kind host. It was a perfect location, right in the heart of Golden.

Nice comfortable space for 2

Pros: Location was very close to downtown Golden and walkable from CO school of Mines. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and pillows. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils and some spices, which is helpful. There's a porch with place to sit outside, too. The shower water was warm and there were plenty of towels and washcloths! There are also a few random trial size bottles of toiletries but these seem to be left by others so bring your own!

Cons: The apartment was freezing when we arrived and we hunted around to find the single baseboard heating unit. It took almost 4 hours for the place to warm up, so we put all those spare blankets to use and snuggled up. Also, the cable took about 2 hours to \

Cozy, charming and convenient

Pros: Very charming, right by downtown shops and restaurants, quick walk to Mines campus. I stayed here for friends and family weekend so I could be near my daughter.

Pros: Perfect location! Easily walkable to the restaurants, shops, and the beautiful walk along the creek. Impeccably clean and lovely decor. Very quiet. Every detail was well planned as to whatever one could possibly want or need. Appreciated the outdoor balcony with comfy seating. Betty was the perfect readily available but not intrusive. We will definitely stay again.

Cons: The stairs up to the apt are a bit narrow- but still doable- when carrying large suitcases.

Betty is a fantastic host of an amazing apartment in a wonderful part of town. I recommend it 100%!

Pros: The apartment’s location is fantastic with easy walking to everything in town. The apartment itself is very nice and is bigger than it appears. The kitchen is stocked and the back deck outside was an added bonus where we enjoyed ourselves in the summer evening fresh air.

Cons: It was a bit warm due to an unusual heat wave, but Betty was amazing and brought us a super stand up fan right away and it did the job. Just mother nature at her best. No complaints.

Pros: La cocina estuvo bien completa, el lugar es limpio y accesible por bus y cómodo si se cuenta con carro particular. Me hizo sentir como en casa.

Cons: No cuenta con lavandería, y aunque esto ya se sabía desde el inicio del alquiler. La lavandería recomendada estaba un poco lejos, por bus o con carro se puede llegar.

The perfect cozy getaway spot to enjoy Golden!

Pros: This unique apartment had a lot of character and was the perfect cozy getaway place for our weekend! The location is GREAT for exploring Golden, and Betty was easy to communicate with. She also provided a parking hang tag which allowed us to park right in front of the lodging (parking can be a lot of work to find in Golden, so this was an extra bonus!).

Cons: We had to search for hand soap a bit (which was provided, it just wasn't near any of the sinks), but really there were NO issues and nothing not to like about saying here! :)

Perfect!

Pros: The studio is beautifully appointed and thoughtful with details like plenty of dishes, extra linens, toiletries, and black washcloths to remove your makeup. It was tidy, cozy, and ideal for a stay in Golden.

Cons: I had to leave and return to a dull hotel by the airport for the last day of my trip, and I couldn't stay in Golden. :(
