Alpen Way Chalet Mountain Lodge

Relaxing easy stay with lovely garden and facilities to chill out and a walk to Evergreen

Pros: So many things make these chalets a great place to stay - Hot Tub, FirePit, lovely gardens, BBQ, full catering facilities including comfortable beds, easy and free parking, 5/10 minute walk to Evergreen centre with lots of bars and restraurants. Lisa and Tommy are welcoming and friendly and the work and effort they put into the property as owners is obvious to see.

Cons: Nothing we could note.

Nice rustic experience

Pros: We liked the outdoor fireplace, it works on propane, easy to light and made for a nice outdoor experience.

Beautiful place to rest in such a cute town.

Pros: This spot was perfect for my needs. It was in a beautiful setting, the bed was extremely comfortable and i loved having the big outdoor space for a fire and to do yoga on the deck!

Great place to explore the local area

Pros: The chalet is in a beautiful location, a good size and well presented. We saw elk in the garden in the mornings which was nice and the use of the hot tub was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Pros: Convenient to Evergreen downtown. Very nice very clean comfortable room and bed. Up to date Wi-Fi and TV. Convenient parking up to date bath room. Beautiful setting.

Cons: Nothing really

We really liked this hotel and the owners. We would absolutely stay there again.

Pros: The hotel is nestled into a picturesque Colorado landscape. Big boulders, mature trees and a few elk walked through to greet us upon arrival!

Cons: We liked everything but it is an older place so the bathroom is small, it’s darker than today’s standards. We saw it as charming, some may not like that.

Overall, it is a wonderful location and lovely, rustic rooms yet with all the modern facilities.

Pros: I enjoyed having amenities inside the room such as a small refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker (w/coffee, tea, etc.), and TV. It was a nice convenience.

Cons: Considering the room rates, a complimentary basic continental breakfast would have been a nice touch. Also, since I was dressing for a wedding on Saturday, a full length mirror would have been appreciated. My son-in-law went to Walmart and purchased one for me which I left in the room for future guests.

We I’ll definitely stay again. The hosts were friendly and helpful with giving advice on where to eat and shop for groce

Pros: It was close to town and main roads. The had all the necessary items for cooking. Loved the arrangement and deck. The gas fireplace was warm and cozy and heated the whole apt.

Cons: We like fresh towels ea morning. Not enough wash clothes. No washer/dryer.
