Great hotel in central location with friendly staff.

Pros: Great location right next to the river. Easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, Coors visit etc. Good staff who were always friendly.

Cons: Drinking water in room tasted of chemicals. Bottled water available but in plastic bottles. Would prefer clean fresh water.

Pros: Very nice building and interior, large and confortable room

Cons: Breakfast was not buffet, but you have to order it. It was not included in toom price and it was expensive

An absolute gem of a hotel

Pros: This hotel is an absolute gem in a fantastic location on the main street and overlooking the creek with amazing views into the mountains. The staff are welcoming and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. The hotel is absolutely immaculate with large comfortable rooms. We were there to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we were upgraded to a creek view suite which was absolutely delightful. I really can't recommend the Golden Hotel enough.

In general we had a pleasant stay in Golden Hotel and in the city of Golden itself, lovely place!

Pros: I liked the location in the center of Golden and the room size were very comfortable for us. Check in and out was easy and smooth. Staff was in general very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend the Golden Hotel.

Cons: Housekeeping could improve and the breakfast menue, which has for european taste only a few options after 4 nights.
