Silver Sage was a fantastic location for big families with kids!!

Pros: This place was perfect for our two families!! There were lots of kids, and they LOVED the downstairs area with the video games and extra tv for kid shows!! There were lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, and very spacious. There were plenty of towels and travel soaps and shampoos. The upstairs had an open dining room/kitchen/den area that allowed us all to cook and visit together. The kitchen was very well stocked with pans, utensils, cookware, etc. The laundry room was very helpful!! We really enjoyed the town of Granby too!! It was a delightful stay!!

Cons: There was no air conditioning, which was fine met days. At night when it got lower than 70 degrees, we opened the windows and had a good breeze. However, during the day, when it got above 80 degrees, the windows were not much help, and we were HOT. If we had known, we would have brought/bought box fans. I’m sure most of the time air conditioning is not needed in Granby, but we southerners from Tennessee and Alabama were not prepared for the hot daytime temps with no assistance!!! We were also surprised by the coloring page that was left on the refrigerator when we arrived. It was inappropriate for children to see. We moved it over to the side during our stay. Not sure why it was there, so it may have nothing to do with the owners. But maybe housekeeping could watch out for that kind of thing next time. Especially since it’s such a child friendly location. We also had a bed with the wrong sized sheets, but we made do.
