Fantastic find in Georgetown!
Pros: My friends and I had a great time! The place had plenty of rooms, beds, appliances, cookware, hangout space... We loved being able to be together for the weekend in a great, small mountain town. It was easy to get ski both Winter Park and Copper without dealing with other neighbors and high prices up by the resorts! We loved the value and had a fantastic stay. Thank you!

Great place for a family/friend group!
Pros: This house is a Georgetown original. It is part of history. Built in 1870. The owners have made it a cozy homebase for visitors. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms worked out great. There are two bedrooms upstairs with a beautiful shared bathroom. Downstairs there is one bedroom with bathroom off the kitchen at one end of the house and a bunk room with seven beds and bathroom at the other end of the house. Great separation. The hot tub just outside on the deck felt great after a day of skiing. If you’re there in the summer, the outside has a patio in the back and a cozy front porch with plenty of seating and games. We were very comfortable in this house and would come back here again.
Cons: Georgetown grocery store is ok but stop at Safeway in Idaho Springs for a serious grocery shop.

Homey historic mountain cottage
Pros: Such a well kept historic property. Huge, comfortable exquisitely put together very comfy chalet with mountain feel in every room so well stocked. Excellent check in process, host is very gracious and communicated effectively without over communicating. Very grand, comfy chalet, very clean linens. Great location.
Cons: Overall the home was very well kept and very clean. However, I do wish that after charging a $300 cleaning fee they did not suddenly spring a list of cleaning chores on their guests, that too only after we pay. Chores that include running a load of towels and stripping all bed linens / pillowcases and dropping them in the laundry room for the price plus high cleaning fee. The fact it takes a housekeeper possibly 5 minutes to do this, and maybe if you have 13 guests who cause a lot of mess you could put a cleaning surcharge at booking for more than 4-6 guests but for 4 guests this chore list is frustrating and leaves a bad shade on an overall excellent stay and completely ruins the exclusive luxury aspect of the stay.. just put the surcharge and tell guests to leave used beds un made and all used towels on bathroom floor.
