1 Mi to Rocky Mtn Natl Park Estes Park Townhome

Pros: We liked the location. It was a five-minute drive from Estes Park, but also only a five-minute drive to the main gate into Rocky Mountain National Park. And since we had timed entry to the Bear Lake region of RMNP in the morning, it was helpful to have a shorter drive to get there -- it also helped to arrive at the Bear Lake entry from the west, where there was a right turn instead of a left turn across traffic. And from the back bedroom, one could listen to the stream running in the back of the facility. (During the day, you could see the river, but also see the family across the river in a separate rental -- so not exactly a rustic view.)

Cons: We needed to pin a scarf to the bottom of the blinds in the front bedroom -- the blinds did not quite reach to the bottom of the window, and the sign for the facility up by the road was on all night. Also, the switch for the light over the dining room table was on the ceiling -- some in our party needed a stepstool to reach it!

We would like to stay here again.

Pros: Very close to park entrance and a short drive to town. Loved being on the river. Kitchen and bathrooms were great.

Cons: There was little air flow in the bedroom opposite the river. Ran out of toilet paper for a 7 night stay.

Pros: Nice and clean inside, well taken care of, loved the creek, would book in a future

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that I had to clean both balconies myself to be able to use it (plenty of cobwebs and dirt)

Pros: Great location - a mile from Rocky Mountain National Park, river/stream right out the back door, wild life (deer, elk, birds, & other critters) in the back yard and along the three mile drive up to the townhome.

Cons: We had an issue with a light switch not working (light stayed on all the time). Once reported, the issue was resolved within a couple of days (switch replaced the final day of our stay).

Pros: Beautiful location. New lovely appliances. We'll stocked matched description very well. Beds were comfortable and liked outdoor furniture (does need rinsed off a bit more frequently)

Cons: Could use some more seating in living room, fan in living room didn't work Evolve rep not very responsive
