Sloans Lake Getaway - Basement Apartment Near Broncos and Downtown Denver

Great stay for a long weekend!

Pros: Very spacious basement apartment with all the amenities you need to cook and/or reheat food. The beds were super comfortable and there was washing detergent which is clutch as I stayed for a stretch of time and needed to wash all my clothes before leaving. Host was super kind, attentive and responsive to all my needs.

Cons: I didn’t like that the towels were short and thin. I did raise that with Jason and he kindly offered other towels but principally I believe they should have been offered at first instance. This is fairly minor and a personal preference.

I highly recomand it, i had one of the best short term renting experience!!!!

Pros: Jason thought about the small details, unit is pretty big, kitchen is perfect and you will find any tool you are looking for!! I had a full privacy and was very close to the city main areas

Pros: Location was really great, and communication was very fast and easy with Jason. The kitchen had all the basic utensils required to cook a great meal if needed. Street parking was available right at the front door.

Cons: When we arrived, some of the kitchen items were not cleaned, but Jason was very helpful and rectified the situation immediately. A minor one, there was a cricket that was very loud all night long that resided by the window so if you are a light sleeper, you might struggle to use one of the rooms. Jason did provide a noise-making machine to help it, but that cricket was quite loud that it was still noticeable.

Perfect location for our 3-day hiking trip.

Pros: Jason was the best host. He had a door code ready for us to let ourselves in. However, we happened to bump into him as we arrived, he was such a lovely person - so organized and helpful! The apartment itself was lovely and clean. I went with my boyfriend and a friend from Ireland, there were two lovely bedrooms with comfy queen beds for us and a fully functional kitchen and living area to hang out in. We wanted a base that was close by/equidistance from Rocky Mountain National Park, the Garden of the Gods, and the Red Rocks. This place was perfect for a 3-day hiking weekend.

Fantastic place and great value

Pros: We enjoyed this place so much, so many amenities, very accommodating. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, host is very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: The area around the house was older, the parking wasn't always right in front of the house.
