Loveland Guest House with Balcony by Boyd Lake

Pros: Gemütliche Unterkunft in der man abends auf dem Balkon den Tag ausklingen lassen kann.

Almost Perfect

Pros: The space was cute and comfortable. The recliners are great, as well as the balcony. It is a very homey little apartment with everything you need except groceries. We loved the space. The check-in and check out were super easy, and the hosts answered questions quickly. The parking is a little different as you have to park in the street perpendicular to the curb in a fairly narrow space. It is well-marked but not big. We had rented a large suv and were a little concerned about it getting side swiped. The good news is it's at the far end of a cul-de-sac. It's a lovely property in a nice neighborhood that is quiet.

Cons: We were not very comfortable in the bed because we have a really cool (temperature) bedroom with a king-sized bed and firm mattress and a ceiling fan at home. The apartment bed was small with a softer mattress and creaked alot with any movement. After two fitful nights, I lefty hubby in the bed and went to one of the recliners with a pillow and slept much better. For some reason, the bedroom was very warm compared to the rest of the apartment. Also, the bedding left much to be desired. I am all about comfort in a bedroom, so I would put in a king-size bed, a ceiling fan, and some really nice bedding. Last but not least, the kitchen garbage can should be bigger. I had to empty it three times in four days.

A really nice place with a gas fireplace, two large recliners and all the things you’d need in the kitchen.

Pros: very convenient to our family, restaurants and stores near by as well as walking trails, bike trails and running opportunities. Nice outdoor deck overlooking a short canal between to small lakes. Host was friendly and even went out of her way to provide us with paddle boards driving us to pick them up from her friends house.

Cons: Entrance is a little interesting with a portable divided screen between their residence and the hallway to your door. A small item is your bedroom window is right outside there kitchen so conversations can be heard.
