Great stay, great location, great view.

Pros: The location was excellent. Great view of the lake and mountains in the background. Secluded property. Great area for walking the dog and lots of interesting wildlife - elk, deer, chipmunks. It was a comfortable house with a great game room. Close to the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and very close to Grand Lake. Could not have asked for a better location. Have already recommended it to a couple friends.

Cons: GPS led us to the bottom entrance to the house vs. the Garage and parking area up top.

Sunshine & views galore

Pros: This is a beautiful location with a great view of Shadow Mountain Lake from the deck. The other spectacular thing? The sunshine that beams down on you while on the wrap around deck. The home is very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well equipped (with items to use & spices & such). The beds are very comfy as well as the bathroom. Thinking this would be a fantastic place for holidays with family! And, my dogs were super comfortable too.

Cons: Explanation about taking the garbage out - using the blue bags provided by the City of Grand Lake - I had not gone through all the drawers in the kitchen & didn't know owner provided some so I went into town & purchased some. Maybe put that in the instruction about the home
